ABOUT US
The Anti-trafficking Bureau (ATB) is at the forefront in combating human trafficking, relentlessly working to dismantle the complex networks behind it. Their work often exposes them to the darkest aspects of humanity, where traffickers use coercion, violence, manipulation, and deception to exploit victims for forced labor or sexual exploitation. Despite these daunting obstacles, ATB agents remain unwavering in their mission to end trafficking and secure justice for survivors.
ATB proudly holds the distinction of being the first registered nonprofit in the Dominican Republic dedicated to investigating all forms of human trafficking since 2017.
We are dedicated to rescuing women and children from the horrors of human trafficking, and providing them with the support and resources they need to rebuild their lives with hope and dignity. Our mission is urgent and vital, and your involvement can help us amplify our impact.
OUR VISION IS A WORLD WHERE HUMAN TRAFFICKING IS NOT TOLERATED.

HOW WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Combating modern-day slavery is both challenging and highly complex. ATB has four divisions, and each division plays a crucial role in our integrated strategy to combat human trafficking, ensuring that we address every aspect of this complex issue comprehensively and effectively.
Preventing human trafficking at its source is critical to avoiding the long-term trauma inflicted by this crime. For survivors, aftercare is essential in helping to restore lives shattered by exploitation: the third and fourth division investigation/ intervention and rescue operations. ATB has a team fully dedicated to investigating human trafficking, The investigative is a victim-centered task force. Therefore, the primary goal of all investigations is to recover the victim. The secondary goal is to arrest and prosecute the trafficker.
